Challenge
Arctic Wallet aims to be more than just an average crypto wallet by offering a simple and convenient ecosystem. The goal is to provide users with a single clear interface for daily tasks such as grocery shopping, managing subscriptions, investing, and browsing the Web3.

The focus is on providing a user-friendly experience for beginners in the crypto sphere, while also offering advanced features for professionals. This goal is reflected in the design and usability of the wallet, as well as the design system used to create and maintain it.
My role
In the Arctic Wallet team, I was responsible for designing the wallet from scratch, starting with creating initial sketches, preparing hypotheses, scenarios, and prototypes for testing. I also worked on finalizing layouts for the developers to use in creating the application.

First, we identified the main scenarios that would be used in the wallet. One of them is shown in the flowchart below. For the purposes of this UX case, we have omitted extended descriptions for each action.
Next, we created sketches of screens and a prototype that we were able to show to potential users to gauge their reactions and feedback. Based on this feedback, we continued to refine and finalize the design of the wallet, resulting in a user-friendly and secure final product.
Design System
Creating a design system for Arctic Wallet was a crucial step in ensuring consistency and usability throughout the application. I developed a set of guidelines for typography, color, spacing, and other elements that were used consistently throughout the application. This helped to create a cohesive and recognizable brand identity for the wallet.
